My current areas of contribution are DevRel and DevEx. By combining the three specialties of engineering, writing, and intellectual productivity, I enhance the performance of developers and managers. I consider “soft skills” and “the verbalization and sharing of knowledge” to be particularly important. As such, I am establishing new roles like Soft Skills Engineer and Knowledge Architect.

Recently, while supporting projects, I’ve been engaged in publishing blog articles within the company, achieving 120 articles and 9000 unique visits over two years. This indicates that 9000 employees have proactively come to read my articles at least once. Although I am not committed to a specific project, I have a broad and shallow influence across the company.

Here are some events triggered by my output:

What I Want to Do

I want to elevate DevRel and DevEx within the organization through the development of “soft skills” and “the verbalization of knowledge.”

What I Can Do

I will post blog articles and documents for all employees. The premise is for everyone to read and critique them.

I can “easily convey existing soft skills and other knowledge,” “verbalize and communicate the organization’s culture and current situation,” and “create and deliver new concepts and methods as needed.” I will package these into articles and documents and distribute them widely.

As a result, all employees will frequently encounter concepts and methods that may be useful, expressed in the context of their own organization. These can improve each person’s and organization’s experiences and relationships. In fact, as a “freely debatable evangelist,” I serve as a catalyst to facilitate everyone’s engagement.

This is only possible because I have the mental strength to sustain daily updates for years and withstand the scrutiny and comments of all employees.

I will support medium- to long-term problem-solving and issue identification upon requests from the company, specific departments, teams, or projects. Specifically, I will develop and propose concepts or methods that serve as answers.

While I cannot directly satisfy any KPI, I can create hints for taking the first step from scratch.

Typically, new concepts or methods are verbalized only “after being validated in practice,” but I can verbalize and deliver them even before validation. I show them to everyone for verification through thought and discussion. I call this conceptual hypothesis testing, which is necessary for quickly creating something from nothing. This is possible because of my unique skills.

Since there is a limit to what I can do alone, reproducibility is necessary.

Systematization is required for that. I believe incorporating engineering into soft skills and organizing them systematically is the solution. I call this Soft Skills Engineering (SSE).

I already have systematized several soft skill categories, such as Task Management (Task Engineering) and Creative Thinking, demonstrating my ability in systematization.

Why Not Hire Me?

DevRel and DevEx are crucial. And, it is not limited to just developers. Building experiences and relationships for engineers, managers, and all other employees in the organization is an urgent task. However, it’s currently viewed as soft skills-related and doesn’t align well with business.

That’s where I step in. By enhancing experiences and relationships through soft skills, organizations can become sustainably stronger, more appealing, and, as a result, expand and stabilize their business. I’m capable of pioneering that beginning.
